Ready, set, go.

 Ready, Set, Go

16.05.16

I'm not sure how ready I am, or how set I am, but I am going to go with what I have been feeling God has been leading me to do.

Which crazy enough is starting a blog, this blog.

Since this is my first blog post I have decided to give you some insight into my crazy, beautiful, messy, life.

Here are ten pretty random things about myself.

one. There's no earthly explanation on how I am still alive, it is by the grace of God alone.

two. I spend more time in hospitals and clinics than the average chronically ill person.

three. I have moved more in this life than I'd like to admit and I'm hoping that, that is almost over.

four. In the last two years I have put over 100,000 miles collectively on the cars I have owned.

five. I am currently taking a few classes online, which reminds me... I am behind on those..

six. I help teach sparky (kindergarten) Awana kids on Wednesday nights.

seven. I play a few instruments.

eight. Most of the people I chose to be around are older than my Nana.

nine. I have a few siblings, a few parents, and a sea of cousins.

ten. My family, no matter how crazy, are the people I love and support.

As I continue this blog, you'll learn a lot more about me, probably more important things than this, but this is just something to break the ice and start tearing down my walls.
I hope that through this blog I can share bits and pieces of what Christ has done for me, my experiences, my family, my struggles, and just every day life with whomever stumbles upon this blog and needs to read what is written.

As I continually ask myself this, I am going to ask you too.
Are you ready and set to go wherever it is or do whatever it is that God is asking, leading, calling, you to do?

Take some time and think about it.
If you are, great, that's awesome!
If you're not, let's figure it out.

Much love.

  1. You have always, and do always, inspire and strengthen my faith. You have done what I have been afraid to do, and that is open up about the things that God really wants me to open up about.
I look forward to continuing this journey with you, and being always and forever your sister in Christ and by choice.

    I love you always

  2. Aw!
It hasn't been an easy road my friend, I still have a lot of opening up to do.
I look forward to it as well.

    I love you most!

    1. You taking the first step in faith, urged me to start sharing my story and my struggles. I have been feeling (and ignoring) God's pull to share my adventures and journey with depression, but it's time to clear the air with it and show that even Christians can be depressed. It's learningtobeokay.blogspot.com

Thank you for the push, God knows what we need before we accept it.
